Wine tasting at their stand, just like in Tokaj

They are happy to welcome visitors to their stand for an exciting wine tasting, during which visitors can experience the excellent Hétszőlő wines. With the help of their photos and wines, they strive to present as best they can the wine tourism services they offer their visitors in Tokaj.

About Rákóczi Winery & Events

Heritage site, is the Rákóczi Winery and Mansion in the main square. This building currently belongs to the Tokaj-Hétszőlő (“seven grapes”) vineyard. The cellar, which was built at the beginning of the 15th century, has been proudly owned by monarchs, princes and generals over the centuries. The grandiose knights’ hall (28m long, 10m wide and 5m high) is the largest underground hall in the wine-producing region, and has served as the venue of such momentous events as the election of John Szapolyai in 1526. The recently reintroduced Tokaj Knighthood of Wine has selected the Rákóczi Winery as the venue of its meetings.

Cozy, guided wine tours, wine-related events and weddings are now hosted there. The Mansion above the cellar includes a modern, elegant wine bar and terrace where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine or a refreshing wine spritzer.

Etyeki Kúria & Kúria Sopron

Etyeki Kúria Winery and Kúria Sopron Winery welcome visitors with a joint portfolio tasting: award-winning wines, two wine regions, one shared experience.

About Etyeki Kúria

Etyeki Kúria Winery was founded in 1996 on Öreg-hegy in Etyek. The winery has earned its reputation through a balanced combination of respect for tradition and innovation. It was the first in the region to plant Pinot Noir for varietal winemaking, a grape that has since become a defining element for both the winery and the wine region.

Their head winemaker, Sándor Mészáros, joined the team in 2009, shaping the wines’ distinctive style by combining local expertise with the latest research and modern winemaking approaches. Etyeki Kúria’s wines and sparkling wines have received numerous national and international awards. The backbone of their broad portfolio consists of Pinot Noir wines, the Sándor Mészáros Project wines, and sparkling wines.

About Kúria Sopron

Kúria Sopron Winery began its operations during the 2024 harvest and is part of the same “Kúria Family” brand as Etyeki Kúria. Grapes have been cultivated on the Sopron Wine Region estates since 2006, where the winery has successfully introduced Blaufränkisch (Kékfrankos) and Merlot wines to the market.

The head winemaker is Sándor Mészáros, who has already left a significant mark on the Hungarian wine scene. In recognition of his professional achievements, he has been nominated among the top 50 candidates for the prestigious Winemaker of Winemakers professional award every year since 2013.

Somló – Tornai Winery

Taste Somló – with us!

Tornai Winery is one of the iconic family estates of Somló, where tradition and modern thinking form a natural harmony. The estate places great emphasis on cultivating ancient Hungarian grape varieties. Their family-run winery celebrates its 80th anniversary this year, as Endre Tornai began grape growing in Somló in 1946 on a modest 0.8-hectare vineyard.

Today, the estate has expanded to 70 hectares of vineyards, and the fourth generation is now actively involved in the winery’s day-to-day operations. Their wines are featured in Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe and the United States, and they achieve outstanding results year after year at major domestic and international competitions. Today, they boast two guesthouses, a vinotheke, a restaurant, and a wine terrace, and they look forward to welcoming their visitors to the beautiful Somló Hill with pride.

The world is moving faster and faster, yet the rocky hillsides, the old vaulted cellars, and the values passed down through generations — “respect and support others, take joy in their success, and see challenges as adventures” — remain unchanged.
