Blogger Corner

Speech by Tamás Kassay
This time, Tamás Kassay takes us to Shanghai on the Blogger Corner stage. Through a personal story, he presents one of China’s most fascinating metropolises from a unique perspective.

A preview from his talk:
“I land in Shanghai with no small change, but I need to buy a metro ticket. I ask in English – no one understands. Suddenly, a Chinese gentleman replies in perfect German. Now that’s a good start, I thought – and I wasn’t disappointed. You won’t be either, if you come and listen.”
Travel with him virtually to a city of the future built on tradition. Wander among ultra-modern skyscrapers and masterpieces of ancient Chinese architecture. Visit the world’s highest post office, climb to the world’s highest art exhibition space located in the second tallest building on Earth – all in true backpacker style, leaving security guards guessing who we really are: budget explorers or something else entirely…

Would you like to know how to explore one of the world’s most expensive cities on a budget?
Curious to taste local food and find out whether a menu is cheaper at home or abroad?
Ready to be amazed by the striking contrasts in the heart of one of China’s most famous cities?
Do you love Asia?
Then this talk is for you. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Speech by Laci Szécsi
Laci Szécsi – also known as Teacher Lucky – the creator of the Can I Fit Into the Suitcase? YouTube channel, is a well-established figure among Hungarian travel vloggers and a familiar speaker at the Travel+ Exhibition. He has been uploading videos to his channel for nine years, featuring destinations from dozens of countries across six continents.

He will be taking the main stage of the Travel+ Exhibition for the fifth consecutive year. In previous years, he has spoken about his one and a half years spent in China, shared his favorite places in Australia and New Zealand, and introduced the audience to working opportunities abroad.
This year, storytelling takes center stage. He will share his most interesting and funniest travel stories from his journeys around the world – including how he sneaked into the Rio Carnival, raised ducks in his 20th-floor apartment in China, or accidentally “kidnapped” someone in Puerto Rico.
As the saying goes, any resemblance to reality is purely coincidental – except in this case, where everything happened exactly as described, though in hindsight, some of these stories might be better left untold.
