Africa Expo Budapest
Africa Expo Budapest will be held again in 2026, marking its 14th occurrence. This year’s event focuses on global responsibility, the role of young people, and the diverse values of Africa.
The event aims to strengthen the relations between Hungary and Africa and to provide a platform for professional and business cooperation.

Programmes and attractions
- Cultural performances: during the event, visitors can enjoy authentic African music and dance performances, as well as art exhibitions that explore Africa’s rich cultural heritage.
- Stalls of creative craftsmen and artisans: African sculptures, masks, clothing, accessories, textiles from Africa on the stands of many exhibitors.
- Travel opportunities to Africa: Travel to Africa Travel Agency will be presenting its latest itineraries, offering professional advice and discounted pre-booking at its African-style stand.
- Professional programmes and conferences: a co-event of the Africa Expo is the 3rd Hungarian Africa Week, which, through its accompanying programmes, further strengthens dialogue and the sense of community. The event is organised in cooperation with the HAND Association and is supported by the Gear UP! project.
- Non-profit organisation stands: child and project support opportunities in many African countries. Volunteer programmes, donation shop, tastings.
- Diversity of exhibitors: over the course of four days, more than 20 African and Africa-related exhibitors, civil society organisations, and diplomatic representations will be presented.
