Africa Expo Budapest

We are pleased to announce that the 13th Africa Expo Budapest will take place again this year. The event aims to strengthen the relations between Hungary and Africa and to provide a platform for professional and business cooperation.

Date: 20-23 February 2025.

📍 Venue: Hungexpo, Pavilion A 212 A Stand, Budapest (1101 Budapest, Albertirsai út 10. concurrent with the Travel Exhibition)

Programmes and attractions

Diversity of exhibitors: nearly 30 exhibitors from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Burkina Faso, Tunisia, Nigeria, among others. In addition, African organisations and Hungarian institutions working in Africa, in particular in Mali, Senegal, Kenya, Algeria, Tanzania and Uganda, will be represented.
Cultural performances: during the event, visitors can enjoy authentic African music and dance performances, as well as art exhibitions that explore Africa’s rich cultural heritage. Lamine Afrikora – West African harp and balafon concerts. “Heritage” African fashion show organised by Iroko Events International and OMOKOMO.
Professional programmes and conferences: on 21 February, the official opening of the Expo will be followed by a specific professional conference organised by the HAND Association.
Travel opportunities to Africa: Travel to Africa Travel Agency will be presenting its latest itineraries, offering professional advice and discounted pre-booking at its African-style stand.
Non-profit organisation stands: child and project support opportunities in many African countries. Volunteer programmes, donation shop, tastings.
Stalls of creative craftsmen and artisans: African sculptures, masks, clothing, accessories, textiles from Africa on the stands of many exhibitors.
