Uncharted Roads Festival

This year marks the 16th edition of the Uncharted Roads Festival, Hungary’s largest event for independent travellers. The concept was dreamed up by the most travelled Hungarian, Vándorboy, where twice a year independent Hungarian travellers meet, exchange ideas, help each other and report on their journeys in person to their followers, who also have the opportunity to ask questions. The festival has become a prestigious event, as we are now being approached by performers we could not reach before. The feedback is very positive, the team has become a second family and we are maintaining the same level of quality year after year. This year we are again organising nearly 100 screenings, book launches, film screenings and roundtable discussions on travel topics.

Renowned independent backpackers, travellers, bloggers and extreme travellers from around the country will gather to share their stories and experiences with a curious, travelling audience. They inspire and give ideas on when, where, how, why and how much to travel, and how much it’s worth. Of course, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and talk to the speakers after the presentations.

The round tables are also organised around different themes – so it’s more interactive and easier for you to voice your individual questions and problems. Good vibes and inspiration are guaranteed. We look forward to welcoming you!
