For many decades, the stereotype that Lake Balaton is only a summer destination has persisted. The image of slowly deepening sandy shores, the gentle waves and the lángos eaten on the beach have become synonymous with the Hungarian sea in the minds of most people. But nowadays, this image has become much more colourful: Lake Balaton is now a 12 month long, extremely exciting and diverse destination.
The main goal of VisitBalaton365, as the official destination management organisation of Lake Balaton, is to increase the promotion of the diverse and full year programme offer of Lake Balaton. Lake Balaton is not only a great place to go to the beach, but also a destination where you can enjoy valuable experiences in every season. Whether it’s active relaxation, family activities, culinary adventures, friends and an unforgettable party, or a quiet retreat, Lake Balaton has something unique for all ages.
The Travel Exhibition in 2025 will also be an excellent opportunity for travellers to get in direct contact with the best programmes, service providers and catering establishments of Lake Balaton. The exhibition also provides an opportunity for personal meetings and friendly conversations.
