The first day of the event, February 21 will again be private - only visitors of the profession will be allowed in.
Our goal is for the profession to participate in valuable and useful tourism presentations, conferences and round-table discussions at the Travel Exhibition and make use of the exhibition’s networking possibilities.
Organized together with Turizmus Kft., on Thursday the exhibition’s guests of honours will introduce themselves to the visitors. As the cultural guests of honour Algeria, Bács-Kiskun County and the city of Kecskemét, the National Palace Program and National Castle Program will give information about their touristic attractions and recent developments. Afterwards visitors can learn about what sort of tourist appeal the Budapest Sports capital of Europe 2019 tittle holds. The next morning sport tourism will be the focus of presentations and round-table discussions.
One of the highlights of the exhibition, particularly for students of tourism, the Student Professional Day is on Friday. This is when the student’s semester of academic competition will come to an end. They will present their topics in front of the project administrative companies: Bács-Kiskun County and Kecskemét, Budapest Festival and Tourism Center, Neckermann Travel Agency and Hungexpo. We await students from several universities during the day to support their peers and cast their ballots in the audience vote.
On February 21, 2019, Hungexpo’s Travel Exhibition will host the KKVHOUSE Tourism Summit. This event is for conciliating interests, in which the government, the sector’s most prominent advocacy groups, training institutions and companies will take part.
